After 17 takeout locations in 2022, the new dish will be available at approximately 140 TGI Fridays stores across the country.
The sushi was created in collaboration with Krispy Rice, which creates Katsuya sushi. Krispy Rice provides raw fish on top of grilled sushi rice, as well as traditional rolls and sides.
"These exciting relationships introduce the TGI Fridays brand into entirely new audiences and give fresh motivations for visitation," CEO said of the Krispy Rice, Happy Dad Hard Seltzer, and Howler Head deals.
"This is an extremely exciting time for TGI Fridays and these collaborations are just the beginning of a creative approach to building our brand."
What can you have at TGI Fridays if you're wanting sushi? Sushi fans will like the Original Baked Crab Handroll, which is wrapped in soy paper with baked crab and rice.
There are also Krispy Krunch Boxes, Two of a Kind Boxes, and Krispy Heaven, which mix a little bit of everything to offer a lot of Japanese sweetness.
