The massive burger has a toasted orange bread with black sesame, distinguishing it from the ordinary Whopper and preventing accidental bites. It's also a wonderful Halloween reference.
The Ghost Pepper Whopper was a limited-time menu item last autumn, but the Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries are new. Burger King has previously provided Fiery Nuggets, but the new version is better.
White flesh chicken is gently breaded and seasoned with ghost pepper for each 'fried'. Four, eight, or 12 pieces with your choice of dipping sauce are available.
According to Burger King North America's Chief Marketing Officer, "We asked Guests whether we should bring back the Ghost Pepper Whopper or offer Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries earlier this year.
Since the results were divided, we're adding both items to our Halloween menus nationally to provide guests numerous opportunities to experience the appropriate taste and heat."
Burger King will give Royal Perk members Digital Exclusive Trick or Heat Meal Bundles beginning Friday, October 13.
